The man accused of murdering Epsom couple Elizabeth and Herman Bangera has been discharged from hospital after suffering critical injuries.
Police confirmed today the 29-year-old charged with murder is now in custody and is set to appear in the Auckland High Court on April 14.

Jesse Kempson can now be named after an order banning his identification was lifted as he lost an appeal against his murder conviction and sentence.

It was revealed the 28 year old raped the other tourist eight months before killing Grace, whose body was later found buried in a shallow grave.
Just as he did with Grace, he lured the victim, then 21, into a drunken Tinder date before taking her back to his motel room.
