A person was helping police with their inquiries. But more than a week after the death, Far North police are still unsure of what happened to him. “At this stage of the investigation, police are treating the death as unexplained,” Detective Sergeant Sam Bindon told
Stuff on Tuesday. “Police have been speaking to a number of people as part of their inquiries and have received some information from members of the public following our public appeal last week,” he said.

cancer for patients in the public health system,
particularly for those who live in under-served and remote
communities.
Dr Cornfeld, previously Chief of
Abdominal MRI at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Associate
Professor of Radiology at the Yale University School of
Medicine, works adjunctly as Chief Radiologist at Hauora
Tairāwhiti, Gisborne’s public hospital, and says the
project will chart the efficacy in New Zealand of a model of

Four people have been injured following a car crash in central Auckland. The two-car crash at the intersection of Pah Rd and Mount Albert Rd happened at 12:35pm on Sunday, police confirmed. St John ambulance attended the incident with three ambulances. The four injured people have been taken to Auckland City Hospital, one in a serious condition and three in moderate condition, said a St John ambulance spokeswoman. Emergency services and the Serious Crash Unit are attending, while traffic management is in place.
