Photo / File NZ Herald By: Nikki Preston A group of five boaties sparked an early morning water rescue after their vessel hit the notoriously dangerous Manukau Bar and water started pouring onboard. Police Maritime, the Eagle and Auckland Westpac Rescue helicopters and Coastguard responded to the vessel s distress call at about 3.30am on Wednesday, a police media spokesperson said.
