Kassam Stadium Picture: ED NIX A man caught up in a bout of ‘mindless football violence’ was given more time to prove his commitment to doing community service. Jamal Wilson-Perry, 21, was one of three young men sentenced for their part in a mass brawl opposite Oxford United’s Kassam Stadium during a Bradford City match in March 2019. He was ordered to do 150 hours of unpaid work. But when he appeared before Oxford Crown Court last month, there were 95 hours left to do. At a breach hearing on Tuesday, Judge Michael Gledhill QC heard that Wilson-Perry now had 57 hours’ worth of unpaid work outstanding. He had been ordered to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace but managed to do 16 hours of educational courses.
