A retro caravan is a picturesque part of a new riverside bar opening at Rainbow Bridge on Saturday. Charlie Gee, 24, has created The Medley around a reconditioned caravan in a stunning setting on his parents’ land at Medley Manor Farm in Binsey. He and his friend Otto Figueiredo, 24, have been hands-on creating the new beer garden on a disused part of the farm which is neatly fenced and has been landscaped with new seating and decking. It has its own access and can be reached on foot or bike from Oxford, Wolvercote and Jericho along the Thames. They can welcome up to 100 people at socially distanced tables and will be open from 11am to 11pm from May to September.
