Study shows: Owls may have inherited their night-hunting abilities from dinosaurs
New research suggests a small bird-like dinosaur s exacting night vision and owl-like hearing allowed it to track down prey in the black of night.

Because modern birds are the closest living relatives of the dinosaurs, scientists have previously surmised that the night-hunting capabilities of owls and other nocturnal birds might be inherited from their theropod ancestors.

May 6 (UPI) New research suggests a small bird-like dinosaur s exacting night vision and owl-like hearing allowed it to track down prey in the black of night.

Because modern birds are the closest living relatives of the dinosaurs, scientists have previously surmised that the night-hunting capabilities of owls and other nocturnal birds might be inherited from their theropod ancestors.
The four Oxford winners are among 51 UK grant recipients, a total surpassing that of any other country. UK researchers qualify for the grants because the UK is an “associated country” to the ERC under the Horizon Europe scheme. Writing on their website, the ERC describes the research as “for the benefit of all EU citizens”. The ERC further noted the importance of strong UK-EU ties, and told Cherwell “up to half” of those ERC Starting Grants in the UK are EU nationals.

Ye’s friendship with Musk is interesting to say the least. Both men share controversial opinions on the world and regularly hang out with each other. Over the summer, Ye linked up with Musk at his home and the Chicago rapper was excited to see his friend dressed in similar style of clothing.
