Man and woman fined for going into a house in Banbury

Man sentenced for Didcot and Headington shoplifting

A man, who was convicted for a string of shoplifting offences, has been sentenced to prison and issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) stopping him from entering Didcot. Simon White, 41, of Blay Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to 15 offences of shoplifting at various retail outlets in Orchard Street, Didcot and London Road, Headington, between September and November 2020. At his hearing at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday January 20, White also asked for a further seven offences of shoplifting to be taken into consideration. He was sentenced to a total of 36 weeks in prison and issued with a CBO for a period of five years.

Closure order on Cumnor property after reports of criminality

A closure order has been applied to a property in Cumnor after reports of criminality. A property on Kimmeridge Road in Cumnor has been granted a closure order by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 21. Thames Valley Police applied the order against the property after reports of anti-social behaviour, criminality and drug dealing. ROBERT SWANDLE, 44, of Dorchester Crescent, Abingdon, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on the A34 on October 16. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
