Syria participates in Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO) 2021 SANA 25 May 2021, 17:10 GMT+10 Damascus, SANA- Contest of Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO) 2021 kicked off on Saturday with participation of Students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad. (APIO) 2021 is organized by Indonesia online with participation of 35 countries. The Distinction and Creativity Commission said in a statement to SANA that all the members of the national team in informatics numbered 33 will participate in this Olympiad through 5 examination centers distributed in the provinces of Aleppo, Damascus, Lattakia, Homs, and Tartous. The period of tasks will last for 5 successive hours, including high-level programming matters. This is the thirteenth participation of the students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad, with participation of countries in Asia and the Pacific, including Japan, China, Russia and Iran.
