MUMBAI: Markets are up over 80 per cent from their March lows but Neelkanth Mishra of Credit Suisse believes it would be unwise to bet against the tide as there is potential for index EPS upgrades. In an interview with ET, Mishra, who is co-head of Asia Pacific Strategy and India equity strategist at Credit Suisse said foreign investors are pouring in record sums as prospects for India are improving. Compared to other parts of the world, our region has been comparatively fortunate. To date we ve recorded just 1.4% of confirmed cases and 1.2% of confirmed deaths. Most countries have avoided the so-called red line , or the point where critical care needs surpass health care capacity, large numbers of health care workers are infected, service quality declines, and deaths rapidly increase.
