The Teachers Association of Anne Arundel County has planned a car caravan to voice their demands for a safer school reopening and “equitable, fair” salaries ahead of the approval of the fiscal year 2022 budget next week.
About 1,000 Anne Arundel County Public Schools employees received the coronavirus vaccine during a five-hour clinic at Severna Park High School Thursday afternoon.
A clinic at Severna Park High School to vaccinate educators is scheduled to launch Thursday, schools spokesman Bob Mosier said, though they are keeping their eye on the weather and forecast conditions that could make driving dangerous.
