GEORGETOWN TWP. A 31-year-old Grand Rapids man is the Ottawa County Jail facing multiple charges for unlawful entry and larceny from vehicles.
The Ottawa County Sheriff s Office responded at 7:28 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, to multiple reports of a suspect entering unlocked vehicles in the area of Cottonwood Drive and Baldwin Drive.
After deputies located the suspect a short distance away from the area, he fled on foot with police pursuing.
While deputies and officers from the Grandville Police Department established a perimeter, an Ottawa County K-9 unit tracked the suspect to an unoccupied residence.
Police entered the residence and located the suspect hiding in the attic where he was taken into custody.
