Pullman man pleads guilty to manslaughter
GRAND HAVEN A Pullman man pleaded guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter Tuesday related to the late September death of 32-year-old Juan Villarreal.
According to police, the two men, who knew each other, fought early in the morning Sept. 26 and Taylor assaulted Villarreal.
In court Tuesday, Taylor admitted to punching Villarreal in the face. Villarreal was knocked out by the punch, fell to the ground and hit his head, resulting in a traumatic brain injury that led to his death.
Villarreal did not die immediately, but was found dead at his home on Fourth Avenue in Holland Township later on Sept. 26.

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. â A Grand Haven psychologist who was sentenced to jail in May for attempted fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct recently had his psychology license suspended for at least three years.
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and Orlene Hawks, the director of the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs made the announcement Tuesday.
The Board of Psychologyâs Disciplinary Subcommittee approved a consent order and stipulation for William Kooistra on Dec. 17.
The subcommitteeâs action also required Kooistra to pay a $25,000 fine.
