Cajun music star, Jamie Bergeron, has released a new single called
Weather Man, and if the name of that song sounds familiar, it should. It was originally released by Hank Williams Jr. back in 1982. It has become a fan favorite over the years, even though it s not widely known by the average Country music fan.
Weather Man was released on Hank Jr. s third album,
The Pressure Is On, back in August of 1981 but the single wasn t released until 1982. That album produced iconic songs like A Country Boy Can Survive and All My Rowdy Friends (Have Settled Down).
Now in 2021, Cajun boy Jamie Bergeron has resurrected the song and, of course, put his Louisiana flavor to the remake. Jamie is a big Country music fan and if you have ever been to any of his live shows, you know that because he always incorporates some old Country into his show.
I guess it is true what they say when people break up, they always come back and get back together. That isn t necessarily just with relationships but also with bands too. El Pasoans are definitely celebrating the excitingly good news about The Mars Volta.
The band had been teasing us with a mysterious clue. What threw us even more for a loop was the fact that The Mars Volta has been split up for 8 years now. For a while now there have been rumors floating around about The Mars Volta recording new music since 2019.
The Mars Volta sure did give us quite the tease for a long while now, in fact since 2019. But now we can finally put our curiosities aside since the rumors have finally been confirmed. The Mars Volta have reunited and put those rumors to rest with their latest and major announcement.
El Paso Catholic Churches Will Only Lift Prayers Not Regulations
There is a place that WON T be opening at full capacity when Wednesday, March 10 rolls around. Everyone knows by now Governor Greg Abbott lifted Covid-19 restrictions including the mask mandate. So by Wednesday, March 10, civilians will not be required to wear a mask and businesses can fully open.
Well, there are people really looking forward to everything opening while others not so much. A Texas nurse is really worried about what is to come once March 10 arrives. But not ALL places are opening up at full capacity when that date comes.
