Actor Alan Tudyk called into the Buzz Adams Morning Show and gave us a great interview before the premiere of his new SyFy show Resident Alien . If the name Alan Tudyk doesn t sound familiar, that s okay, however, I m sure you ll recognize some of his roles.

In his interview (which you can check out below) he told us that his parents actually met here in the Sun City and Tudyk then revealed that he was born at El Paso s Hotel Dieu Hospital.

Hey, who doesn t love surprises, right? I love my hometown for everything it is bi-polar weather and all. The only con about El Paso s temperatures always changing is when you plan out an outfit and have to change it due to a cold-front shift.
Well, El Paso gave us a little bit of a white surprise in the morning.

There are so many great memories a lot of us have from the old Western Playland location.
Western Playland used to be located at Ascarate Park near Delta. That was the OG location for Western Playland back in the day. I remember when the rumors came about the park moving to another location I felt a sort of homesick feeling.
All the years of my life (then) were spent going to Ascarate Park where Western Playland was originally set. When the news about Western Playland moving locations was announced my heart sank.
In my head, I just thought it wasn t going to be the same. I remember one of the many reasons I loved the Ascarate Park location more was because of the trees that provided a lot of shade.
Now Dead Man s Hole is one of those crazy stories that will blow your mind.
Since middle school, I was never a fan of the social studies subject. When I was in high school, I remember learning about Dead Man s Hole and having nightmares from that lesson.
After learning about the Dead Man s Hole I ve been wanting to visit the historical marker ever since. I was never really a history buff until my curiosity got the best of me.
Dead Man s Hole is about 7 feet wide and close to 160 feet deep. If you re wondering exactly how far down that is, it s about 15 stories deep.
