Last year four new water parks were set to open, but the novel coronavirus brought everything to a screeching halt canceling all public events. After a year of unprecedented proportions, Texas has reopened to total capacity, and now El Paso’s Water Parks are opening one by one.
Camp Cohen, the first water park, opened in Northeast El Paso to a record sellout crowd over Memorial Day weekend.
Now Oasis Water Park will open its doors this Sunday, featuring a state-of-the-art surfing experience and a dedicated climbing wall pool area. Chill-back spectators can also enjoy the leisure pool, lap pool, and lazy river while the kids can have fun on the slides and water playground. Visitors can also lounge at the cabanas in the Hueco Dwellings or grab a bite to eat at the Wanderlust Café.
