ISLAMABAD: A Senate panel, while discussing the viral video case of a couple in Islamabad on Wednesday directed the police to ensure strict punishment from court for all those involved in the case.
Senate Standing Committee on Interior, which met here at the Parliament House with Senator Mohsin Aziz in the chair, said that those involved must be punished so that such incidents are not repeated.
SSP Investigation Attaur Rehman told committee members that seven out of the eight suspects including the main one were in police custody and efforts are underway to arrest the last one.

ISLAMABAD: The public prosecutor in the couple sexual harassment case on Monday told a court that 14 people were involved in detaining the young man and woman at gunpoint and filming them for two-and-a-half hours.
The police secured another four-day physical remand of Usman Mirza, Farhan Khan, Attaur Rehman, Adaras Butt and Umar Bilal in the case. They have been on physical remand for the last six days. The sixth suspect, Mohib Khan, was arrested on Monday and is on judicial remand.
