5:20 p.m.: CPS positivity rate rises to 12.5
The Columbia Public Schools 14-day case rate per 10,000 people is at 12.5.
The updated CPS student tracker shows 155 students in the district currently in quarantine and 10 active student cases.
The district has seen 3,486 quarantined student cases and 653 positive student cases since June 2020.
The updated CPS staff tracker also shows 13 staff members currently in quarantine and 2 active staff cases. 1 staff members are out due to EFMLA laws.
The tracker also shows 61.3% of CPS staff members have been vaccinated.

5:00 p.m.: Over a quarter of Boone Countians have completed vaccination
The Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health & Human Services reported 20 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of active cases to 108.

With the stroke of midnight Friday morning, all three vaccination phases in the state of Missouri became eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Audrain County Health Department is following Governor Mike Parson’s order to make the vaccine available to all that request it in any of the three phases put in place for vaccine distribution by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
The health department and the Missouri National Guard are teaming up once again to give Audrain County residents a chance to get the vaccine on Thursday and Friday. Thursday’s event will be for 200 appointments at the Eastern Missouri Family YMCA in Vandalia and Friday’s event will be at the Audrain County Health Department office in Mexico.

BOONVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Cooper County Public Health Center is hosting a vaccine clinic Thursday open to anyone 16 years or older.
The clinic will be held at Rolling Hills Park off Ashley Road in Boonville, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
The health center has 300 doses of Pfizer s coronavirus vaccine that will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cooper County is reminding residents that a parent or guardian is required to be present for people ages 16 and 17 looking to get vaccinated.

The Audrain County Health Department (ACHD) is now encouraging walk-ins to the Adaptive Vaccination Team (AVT) vaccination event at the Eastern Missouri Family YMCA in Vandalia today, April 15.
The vaccination clinic, hosted by the ACHD, the YMCA and the Missouri National Guard, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the YMCA at 309 South Main Street in Vandalia. Moderna will be the vaccine being administered.
Those attending today s clinic will need to return to the YMCA in Vandalia on Thursday, May 13, for their second dose of the vaccine.
