LAHORE: Pakistan men’s cricket team will tour England for a limited-overs series in July despite United Kingdom (UK) government placing Pakistan on its red list because of Covid-19, a Pakistan Cricket Board official claimed.
He further stated that they will review the situation with England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) at the end of next month.
The Green-shirts are to play three ODIs and as many T20Is from July 8 to 20. The ODIs will be part of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.

The United Kingdom (UK) government’s decision to impose restrictions on travelers from Pakistan will not affect the national men’s cricket team tour of England in July,
Pakistan cricket team is scheduled to visit England later this year to play three one-day internationals (ODI) and as many twenty20 internationals (T20I) from July 8 to July 20. The ODIs will be part of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.
As per the report, a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official claimed that the tour will go as planned despite Pakistan placed in UK’s travel red lost due to Covid-19.

LAHORE: Pakistan captain Babar Azam has ended the ICC Menâs Cricket World Cup Super League matches as the number-one ranked ODI batsman in the world. The latest rankings were updated after the third ODI between Pakistan and South Africa.
Babar had moved ahead of Indiaâs Virat Kohli after his 103 in the first match of the series. But he slipped to second, five points behind Kohli, after scoring 31 in the second match. However, after an innings of 94 in the series finale that earned him the player of the match award, Babar once again leapfrogged the India captain.

Pakistan players were handed a huge boost ahead of their tour of Zimbabwe after skipper Babar Azam grabbed the number one spot in the Men’s One Day International cricket rankings following a series win over South Africa.
The Asians, who are scheduled to arrive in Harare this Saturday, are having a good outing in the neighbouring country where they have bagged the ODI series 2-1 to earn points in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.
