Cervantes: Jesus Christ: You will not need your body for very long…

SunStar + April 22, 2021 IF THERE’S a really credible website on modern-day prophecies that I would recommend, it’s countdowntothekingdom.com. It’s very Christian and is reputed to have finetooth-combed its selection of Catholic mystics, mostly still living in our times, whose reputation could qualify them for sainthood. The website also features a few who are already saints, blessed, or servants of God. From such website, I am sharing the following significant caveat from our Lord Jesus Christ through mystic Gisella Cardia on April 17, 2021: “Beloved brothers and sisters, here I am with you who have asked for my intervention. Brothers and sisters, I ask you to pray and to raise up your prayers so that the time might be shortened even more. I am ready, and soon a Storm will befall humanity; it will be so strong that the world will have known nothing like it. I pray to my Father that the remaining ounce of mercy might be used on these confused children (i.e.

By Rev. Dr. Kelvin Calloway, Contributing Writer Published April 21, 2021 Scripture: Acts 10:34-43 In the tenth chapter of Acts, Luke introduces his audience to a man by the name of Cornelius. Cornelius was an Italian centurion.  Verse 2 of this chapter tells his audience that Cornelius was a devout man who feared God, always prayed to God and was generous to people. Cornelius has a vision one day where an angel of the Lord says to him that God has taken notice of his prayers and his almsgiving . God notices our prayers and our deeds. No prayer to God goes unnoticed. Prayer is not just some spiritual discipline only to make us feel good. God hears and God answers prayers. No good deed on behalf of God goes unnoticed. Whatever we do, Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 25:40, to the least of these, we do it unto Him.

Nowadays, if you were born any year after 1980, you’d have to Google that to catch a glimpse of the bygone contraption. But as a boy, I recall watching home movies of family outings, captured on film with an 8mm camera. If we could look back on our lives before Christ, I wonder if we’d laugh or cringe? Some episodes would make us laugh out loud. Like seeing our hairdos and bell-bottom pants. Still, other scenes might cause us shame, embarrassment, or conjure some regrets.
