From Christian Persecutor to Beloved Evangelist, Remembering Pastor Stephen Lungu
2/11/2021 Zimbabwe (International Christian Concern) – Pastor Stephen Lungu died of coronavirus last month, January 19
th, at the age of 78. The beloved pastor will be remembered by many in Zimbabwe as one of the greatest evangelists of his generation, whose testimony and passion for Christ has been an inspiration to countless believers.
At five years old, Lungu was abandoned by his mother and sent to live in an orphanage where he was beaten on a daily basis. By the time he was 12 he was living under a bridge, addicted to drugs and the leader of a violent gang called the Black Shadows. Lungu remembers spiraling into a cycle of bitterness and hatred towards God, and made it his aim to terrorize Christians and kill anyone who carried a bible.

+ February 11, 2021 HAS there been a time when I had second thoughts about the apocalyptic articles I have been sharing in various media? Over a decade ago, I had entertained the possibility that I could be sharing data from false prophets to qualify me as a fearmonger. But in recent years, my confidence has been unswerving, having uncovered apocalyptic declarations of the same vein from a series of popes, starting with Pope Paul VI.
I have always kept my views to a minimum in my articles since mystics are conveying no less than verbatim words from divine sources. I would not dare assume readers would have my views rather than the messages themselves, clear as they have always been.

Candidate Craig Carter who is running for state representative to replace Drew Springer in HD68 seat is mourning the loss of family killed in a hit-and-run accident Sunday, Jan. 31 in Fort Worth.
Carter released a statement on Facebook regarding the loss of his four-year-old daughter, Lux and his mother-in-law, Rose. His three-year-old son, Rex, is in critical condition at Cook Children’s Hospital.
“As some may know my daughter, Lux, who was four, and mother-in-law Rose, have passed away into heaven as the result of a horrible car crash on Sunday. Our son Rex has survived, he is fighting, and we humbly ask for your prayers. My wife and I are devastated but comforted by the knowledge that they are now with our Lord Jesus Christ,” Carter said.
What Does the Bible Say about Dust?
Because God formed humans out of dust (Genesis 2:7), and the Bible tells the story of how God saves humanity, we can imagine Scripture has a lot to say about dust.
“
By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”
Because of Adam and Eve’s sin, they will “return to dust.” We can often think of bodies decomposing, or in the case of cremation, bodies turning to dust through a fiery process. Throughout history, civilizations attempted to mummify bodies as a way to preserve them for the afterlife. But truthfully, our bodies serve as a temporary house for our spirit. They do not last forever.
