1. Presos políticos cumplen entre 34 y 6 días detenidos
Marcos Antonio Fletes y Walter Gómez, excontador y exadministrador de la extinta Fundación Violeta Barrios de Chamorro (FVBCH), respectivamente, cumplieron este 1 de julio 34 días de estar “desaparecidos”, ya que no han sido vistos por sus familiares ni por sus abogados. Ambos fueron secuestrados entre la tarde y la noche del viernes 28 de mayo y se les impuso la detención preventiva de 90 días. Según familiares, en la Dirección de Auxilio Judicial, conocida como “el nuevo chipote”, solo les permiten llevarles agua, y no les permiten verlos.

The Red Hill School District in Bridgeport in southeastern Illinois is on probation with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) for making masks optional.
ISBE sent a letter to the Red Hill School Board stating, “As of today, the Red Hill board has refused to rescind its masking policy or amend it in compliance with the law. For this reason, effective the date of this letter [June 23, 2021], we must lower the recognition status … to ‘on probation’ for exhibiting deficiencies that present a health hazard or a danger to students or staff.”
This is ridiculous hyperbole on the part of ISBE. Allowing people the liberty to decide whether they want to wear a mask does not “present a health hazard or a danger to students or staff.”
