Search begins for year s top Lake District-inspired work

Entries are officially open to find the top book of 2021 – so get submitting your ideas! Judges of the 2021 Hunter Davies Lakeland Book of the Year have begun the search for their next winner, and you can help them in their feat. The competition aims to celebrate the huge amount of literature the Lake District inspires each year, and is open to any book published in 2020 featuring or set in the area. In its thirty-seventh year, the competition continues to grow – and not even Covid can stop it in its tracks. 2020 definitely gave us an extra challenge,” Sam Tollerson, awards organiser, said.
