FASHIONISTAS wailed loudly when the the Covid-19 pandemic stole from them the most important fashion event of every year, the Met Gala.
Hosted every first Monday in May, the annual gathering of fashion, business, politics, Hollywood and tech, had to be cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic.

The two-part exhibition will be presented over 2021 and 2022 in two areas of the Met.

So, instead, a short ceremony and wreath laying was organised for those unable to attend in person.

The administration also faced pointed questions from some members of the Memphis City Council about the status of the city s efforts to remedy the weekslong issues in that area, which is known as Area E. It is the only portion of the city s trash service that is outsourced and not handled by the division of solid waste. I want to make sure that we meet the constituents expectations.. When part of the city s trash is not picked up for 3 to 4 weeks, it s a priority for all of Memphis., Councilwoman Rhonda Logan told Memphis Chief Operating Officer Doug McGowen during the meeting Tuesday.
