蘋果商店將試辦彈性在家上班 看好疫後網路購物需求仍在 (圖:AFP)
蘋果在 6 月初宣布，非零售員工從 9 月初起一周至少得進辦公室三天，但知情人士透露，針對蘋果商店的員工，蘋果將在今年稍晚試辦「零售彈性」(retail flex) 計畫，門市人員可以選擇某幾周居家辦公，另外幾周到門市上班，在家上班期間處理線上銷售、客服和技術支援。
蘋果直營店測試混合辦公模式，代表這家科技巨人認為疫情期間網購需求激增的現象，進入解封和重啟階段仍將延續。蘋果發言人拒絕評論此報導。
針對參加計畫的員工，蘋果將補貼部分網路費用，和發放 100 美元讓員工添購辦公設備，員工薪資不會因為在家還是進門市上班而有不同。
疫情嚴峻期間，蘋果曾要求數千名員工遠距上班，並提供 Mac 桌上型電腦。
全美蘋果商店已在 6 月恢復營業
