The Senate liaison to the Maricopa County election audit, Ken Bennett, dropped the bombshell after discovering that officials first lowered signature verification standards before ultimately disregarding them altogether. According to Bennett, election workers informed auditors that the protocols were skipped, but county officials have denied the allegation. Auditors say they found that protocols were initially being followed to a quite reasonable and high standard.
