The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MBS) should have left the snark on the playground. Its churlish, childish response to reasonable questions from Arizona State Senate President Karen Fann is unbecoming of elected officials. Its constituents deserve better.
On May 12, Senator Fann sent a letter asking MBS to clarify some discrepancies and anomalies observed by the auditors reviewing Maricopa Countyâs ballots, even inviting MBS officials to attend a meeting at the state Capitol to clear things up. Fann pointed out that certain databases appear to have been deleted, recorded vote totals failed to match up with the physical documents, and chain-of-custody documentation had not been provided.
Fox News Moves To Have Dominion Voting Systems Lawsuit Dismissed
at 8:04 pm NPR
Fox News has asked a Delaware court to dismiss a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit brought against it by Dominion Voting Systems over the network s coverage of the 2020 vote count, arguing it threatens to stifle the media s free-speech right to inform the public about newsworthy allegations of paramount public concern.
Dominion filed its suit in March saying that Fox News personalities spread lies on air about its voting machines and software that recklessly disregarded the truth and resulted in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
In its filing to dismiss the suit on Tuesday, Fox News said it was within the bounds of the First Amendment to air the claims about Dominion and that the company has failed to back up its allegations of actual malice.

Fox News Media filed to dismiss a defamation lawsuit of $1.6 billion brought by Dominion Voting Systems Tuesday.
Dominion originally filed the defamation lawsuit against Fox News in March, accusing the company of advancing false claims of Dominion rigging its voting machines in the 2020 election. The claim said they specifically did so to flip votes to now-President Joe Biden over former President Donald Trump, according to Insider.
In the suit, Dominion claimed that Fox News “sold a false story of election fraud in order to serve its own commercial purposes” through the guests they hosted, including Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s former personal lawyer.
