Clothes maketh the man, but they can also lead to mockery on social media, as conservative TV host Greg Kelly has discovered.
The anchor for right-wing media source Newsmax has defended a sartorial choice he made before posing with the former President Donald Trump by a golf course in a picture he shared on Twitter.
With Trump in a red Keep America Great cap, Kelly replicates the former president s trademark thumbs-up pose. Meanwhile, Kelly treads that tricky line between formal and informal, with a navy blue jacket, light-blue shirt and khaki pant combination.
Fox News and other right-wing media has faced backlash and criticism following the riot due at least, in-part, to their airing of conspiracy theories from Trump and his allies, namely attorneys Rudy Giuliani
Fox News is currently facing two multibillion-dollar lawsuits from voting technology companies Smartmatic and Dominion Voting Systems over defamation for their airing of false claims relating to their technologies.
Antonio was arrested in Delaware in mid-April and is facing five charges in connection with the riot, including the destruction of government property and obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder.
According to an FBI affidavit, he was seen climbing the scaffolding outside of the Capitol, breaking into the building through a tunnel and pouring water on a police officer who was being dragged down a set of stairs.
Dear Editor:
In a rather odd attempt at damage control, Dominion Voting Systems has apparently decided it was necessary to issue an âofficial statement,â throughout the state of Colorado, regarding the intelligence community assessment on foreign threats to the 2020 election.
The IC (whose directors were recently appointed by the Biden administration) concluded there was no foreign interference involved and implied the machines were secure, even though the report did not deny the machines were actually connected to the internet.
They further concluded that the public claims of foreign interference were baseless and false and there was âno evidenceâ of foreign intervention. Maybe we should ask: Where is the evidence from the intelligence community to back up their claims?
