The Onslow County Sheriff s Office remains on the hunt for a murder suspect they say is responsible for killing his ex-girlfriend s roommate early Wednesday morning.
Eduardo Samual Bamaca-Domingo, 37 years old of 105 Golden Ct. Lot 2, Jacksonville, allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend s house just before 6:15 a.m. Wednesday morning. The victim, 36-year-old Juan Lopez Lopez, was confronted by Bamaca-Domingo before he was fatally shot, according to the OCSO.
Officials are currently questioning Bamaca-Domingo s citizenship in the United States and believe he may have been here illegally. They have been unable to find any documentation so far in the investigation.
Bamaca-Domingo is described as a Hispanic male, height 5`5, weight 150, brown eyes, and black hair. Deputies say he fled the area in a gray or silver Mazda-3, four doors with North Carolina registration TAW-6135. The direction of travel is unknown at this time. A Hubert man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly distributed pornographic images of a former girlfriend on social media.
According to the Onslow County Sheriff s Office, on January 20, 2020 Onslow County Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit detectives received a report that a female discovered private images of herself distributed over social media. The report was forwarded from the Tulsa, Oklahoma Police Department that Ryan Christopher Herndon, who had previously been in a relationship with the victim, distributed private images of her without her consent or knowledge.
Investigation revealed that Herndon, 34 years of age of Elm Street in Hubert gained access to the victim’s Facebook account through her cell phone which was reported as lost or stolen. During the investigation, Herndon left Onslow County and stopped all communication with detectives.
A Sneads Ferry man lost his appeal in court last month regarding his conviction involving multiple sexual acts with his stepkids, spanning over a two-year time.
Corey Joseph Greenfield, 33, of Maple Hurst Drive in Sneads Ferry was arrested on Aug. 4, 2017, by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office for multiple counts of statutory sex offenses, indecent liberties with a child, and first-degree statutory sex offense. Greenfield was later convicted of nine charges, including for “Statutory Sex Offense with a Child who is 15 Years or Younger”.
The encounters took place between Jan. 1, 2015, and May 26, 2017, with Greenfield and his three stepkids, two boys and a girl. The kid s mother, Bambi Lynn Townsend, was arrested a few days after Greenfield, once investigators discovered Townsend knew about the abuse and failed to report it.
