Working as a law enforcement officer is one of the most dangerous professions there is. Many times the public only gets to see brief glimpses of what it s like policing a community on a daily basis.   Questions continue to be asked about what police reform is needed when it comes to instances involving officers using deadly force.  Activists have endorsed more body-worn cameras, de-escalation training, implicit bias training, and early intervention systems as examples they believe could better serve officers and the citizens they ve sworn to protect.  Black Lives Matter protests began to fuel Blue Lives Matter responses and with the big picture showing shooting deaths involving officers have decreased tremendously as a nation, they continue to happen in every corner of the country.
