Confidential Shredding Services will be in the library parking lot at 212 W. 12th St. to provide services in a drive-through format. The documents being shredded must be personal and not business-related. Spiral notebooks, paper clips, and staples are permitted, but binder clips cannot be part of the documents. Document owners can watch their items being shredded, but they must stay in their cars.

Auto museum plans free summer concerts

AUBURN — A series of free outdoor concerts for the public will take place this spring and summer at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum. The museum said Thursday is will play host to the concerts in partnership with Country Heritage Winery, Mad Anthony’s Brewing Company and the DeKalb County Visitors Bureau. The monthly concerts will take place on the fourth Thursday of each month from April through August from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on the campus of the museum at 1600 Wayne St., with music starting at 6 p.m. The first concert in the series will be Thursday, April 29, featuring Whoa, Man!, a group from Fort Wayne headed by long-time local musician Sunny Taylor.

IDDC awards destination grants

by: Reed Parker, Inside INdiana Business Posted: Mar 15, 2021 / 10:13 AM EST INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) The Indiana Destination Development Corporation has awarded nearly $400,000 in Destination Development Grants. Secretary and Chief Executive Officer Elaine Bedel says the funding is part of an effort to invest in amenities, attractions and facilities that “enhance the experience where people want to live, work, play, study and stay.” The recipients include the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum and the city of Greensburg. “Both of these grant awardees offer unique attractions and build on Indiana’s quality of life,” said Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch. “The Destination Development Grants will not only boost Auburn and Greensburg, but also serve as new reasons to bring people to their regions.”
