Apple has removed Shadow, a cloud gaming service, from its App Store.
The French company had its app removed last year.
Cloud gaming service Shadow has had its app removed from the App Store on iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS.
Dear #TeamShadow,
during the review of our most recent app update, Apple s team rejected and removed the Shadow iOS, iPadOS & tvOS apps from the App Store. As it stands, the apps are no longer available for download.
We are currently in discussion with Apple s team to understand more and get the apps reinstated on the App Store as soon as possible.
Apple on Monday announced new changes, additions and updates to its App Store Guideline policies, one of which includes developer instructions for implementing App Tracking Transparency.
Detailed in a post to Apple s developer portal, the updates are in large part clarifications and modifications to existing rules governing payments, disclosures and app terminology.
One noted addition to Apple s ruleset covers App Tracking Transparency, a new iOS feature designed to give users more control over data privacy. Initially slated to debut in 2020, the upcoming feature opts users out of ad tracking by default. When opening an app for the first time, users will see a permission dialogue box with two selections: Allow Tracking and Ask Apps Not to Track.

Update: Amphetamine Has Been Saved!
On January 2nd, 2021, I received a call from Apple to discuss the results of my appeal. On that call, an Apple representative stated that Apple now recognizes that the word amphetamine and the pill icon are being used metaphorically , and in a medical sense.
Thank you to all for sharing this story and helping to keep Amphetamine in the App Store.
