Comedian Iliza Shlesinger to perform outdoor show at new CNY venue

Comedian Iliza Shlesinger is coming to Central New York for an outdoor show.
Shlesinger will perform Friday, Aug. 6, at the new Apple Valley Park in LaFayette. Gates open at 5 p.m. for the new venue, located on the LaFayette Apple Festival grounds near Syracuse.
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 7 at 10 a.m. through applevalleypark.com. Tickets will be sold in roped-off PODS (Personal Outdoor Dance Space) for parties of two, four or six people.
All PODS are spaced a minimum of six feet apart. Additional Covid-19 requirements include wearing masks at all times when entering, exiting or walking outside of your pod; temperature screenings and surveys upon entering event grounds; socially distanced lines; and options to purchase food or drinks in advance.
Tedeschi Trucks Announce June & July 2021 ‘Fireside Live’ Concerts

Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks will hit the road this summer with various members of the Tedeschi Trucks Band for a series of socially distanced “Fireside Live” concerts. Billed as Tedeschi Trucks, the group will perform in various configurations ranging from between four and seven musicians at each of the 20 limited-capacity shows in June and July with more dates to be announced.
“Fireside Live” takes its name from the “Fireside Sessions” livestream series held in February and March. The run begins at Daily’s Place Amphitheater in Jacksonville, Florida on June 11 and 12. From there, Tedeschi Trucks plays Huntsville, Alabama on June 18; Murfreesboro, Tennessee on June 19 and 20; North Charleston, South Carolina on June 24 and 25 and Cayce, South Carolina on June 26.

The summer concert season is heating up in Central New York.
Tedeschi Trucks Band announced “Fireside LIVE,” a series of three socially distanced concerts at the new Apple Valley Park in LaFayette, N.Y., on July 9, 10, and 11. Band leaders Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi will perform with varying members of TTB each night with the total band configuration ranging between four and seven musicians; the modified lineup will be known as “Tedeschi Trucks” due to band members unable to join the tour due to challenges from the coronavirus pandemic.
