The journalist who fell in love with super-villain Martin Shkreli, aka “Pharma Bro,” told her story to Elle magazine in an article published Sunday. In it, former Bloomberg business reporter Christie Smythe explained how she divorced her husband in 2018 to pursue a relationship with the 37-year-old convicted fraudster who in 2017 was sentenced to seven years in prison.

Joanna Smith had been waiting for 45 minutes with a bundled-up grandchild in the backseat.
Smith, who is on disability and is undergoing treatment for breast cancer, said the operation run by Catholic Charities plays a critical role in feeding her grandkids.
“They give you a reason to get up,” Smith said.
