Sudden readiness checks were held in the Defense Army of Artsakh on February 6-7, which involved the administrations of the Defense Army, a number of military units, management and supply agencies under the leadership of the Defense Minister of the Artsakh Republic, Defense Army commander, Lieutenant-General Levon Mnatsakanyan. Defense ministry denies Azerbaijani reports about border incursion by 40 Armenian servicemen Azerbaijan’s Defense ministry has released another disinformation, alleging around 40 Armenian servicemen had crossed into Azerbaijani territory in the evening of June 1 and were forced to retreat, Armenia s Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday. It’s obvious that the Azerbaijani military-political leadership is circulating such disinformation for creating an impression within the international community that the Armenian Armed Forces are attempting to escalate the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as well as for counterbalancing the provocation on infiltrating into Armenia’s territory by the Azerbaijani armed forces on May 12 and 13, the Ministry said.

YEREVAN, MAY 28, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Ministry of Defense is denying the Azerbaijani military’s accusations that the Armenian forces opened fire in the direction of Nakhijevan.
“That’s yet another delirium of Azerbaijan,” the Armenian Ministry of Defense said, adding that the Azeri side s statement is fake news. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia did not open fire in the direction of Nakhijevan. Apparently the reasons of the Azeri serviceman getting wounded should be sought in the problems and quality of the Azeri military’s code of conduct and military courtesy.”
