PESHAWAR: Minister for Interior Shaikh Rashid Ahmed Friday said the government was going to take strong action against armed wings of the political parties.
The minister said the diplomatic passport of Nawaz Sharif would stand cancelled on its expiry on February 16 and the government would not renew it. “Pakistan have no extradition treaty with Britain under which Nawaz Sharif could be brought back, however efforts are underway on all fronts to get him repatriated to face corruption cases,” he said while addressing a press-conference here after winding up his two-day visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and merged tribal districts.

ISLAMABAD: The 114th Midshipmen Commissioning Parade was held at Pakistan Naval Academy PNS RAHBAR, Karachi. The parade comprised 102 Pakistani and 64 Midshipmen from friendly countries.
Addressing the ceremony, Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi highlighted the technological strides and recent acquisitions made by Pakistan Navy and underscored the challenges entrusted upon newly-commissioned officers.
The Admiral said that Pakistan is a peace-loving country and desires to maintain friendly ties with all its neighbors. He underlined that our desire for peace must not be misconstrued as our weakness as the Armed Forces of Pakistan are fully cognizant of all such nefarious designs and stand fully ready to foil them, whatever the cost may be.

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Dec, 2020 ) :Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee (CJCSC) on Saturday said Joint Air Exercise Shaheen-IX would further strengthen and promote the friendship and cooperation between the two great nations as well as Armed Forces of Pakistan and China.
The CJCSC witnessed the conduct of Pak-China Joint Air Exercise Shaheen-IX at an Operational Air Base of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), said an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.
The exercise was intended to further enhance interoperability of both Air Forces and has provided an excellent opportunity to learn from each others experience.
