The summer of 2021 is looking lively as outdoor venues like Bethel Woods reopen and live concerts resume. With mandates easing and COVID numbers dropping, the Hudson Valley will be more exciting than ever.
Here are a few live performances to put on your calendar:
Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center
Winner of two Grammy Awards and three Academy of Country Music Awards, multi-platinum selling acclaimed singer and songwriter LeAnn Rimes will be performing at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center on Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $65.

City Winery Hudson Valley
In addition to Zac Brown Band, the Sullivan County site that once hosted the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair also lists the Black Crowes, Chicago, James Taylor with Jackson Browne, and Chris Stapleton as headliners through the end of September.
Meanwhile, Toby Keith is among performers who have announced shows at the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown.
Zac Brown Band’s show is scheduled for 7 p.m. Aug. 6, accompanied by Teddy Swims and Ashland Craft.
Masks are required for all attendees, as well as proof of either vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test.
It’s unclear how Bethel Woods plans to divide its seating chart based on state guidelines for social distancing; it notes only a “limited number” of season lawn passes are available to be purchased this year, though when trying to purchase tickets the available seats do not appear to have been reduced to account for extra spacing.
