A Halloween trip to the Sahara Theatre, a strip club in Anaheim 4 miles east of Disneyland, was cut short after Edgar Nava-Ayala, Daniel Ocampo and Juan Acosta-Soto were kicked out by security guards for not complying with the venue s mask requirements. They returned to the Sahara in a red Toyota Camry. Nava-Ayala allegedly fired about 15 rounds from an AK-47 semiautomatic rifle “indiscriminately” into the club, according to statements from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and the Anaheim Police Department.

Dr. Randy Rosen, 52, pleaded not guilty on July 2, to 88 felony counts in two separate cases in connection with hiring body brokers to pay patients at Southern California sober living homes to undergo medically unnecessary cortisone shots and Naltrexone implant surgeries. On October 1, a judge found there was enough evidence to hold Rosen until trial on all felonies and set bail at $10 million.
