Celebrity Cruises announced this week that it is returning to U.S. waters on June 26, when its ship, Celebrity Edge, sets sail from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Voyage itineraries for each ship will continue to be evaluated for port availability and may be adjusted as required closer to the sailing dates. These additional ship restarts follow the April 28th announcement of the line’s
Marina resuming cruise operations from
Copenhagen beginning on August 29, 2021.

(CNN) Celebrity Edge is poised to be the first major cruise ship to sail from the United States in over a year as Covid-19 restrictions continue to ease in the country.
The ship, part of the Celebrity Cruises line owned by Royal Caribbean Group, has been cleared to sail from Fort Lauderdale with paying passengers in June 2021. After months of working with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other government officials, our Healthy Sail Panel and industry partners, we can again offer cruise lovers the chance to enjoy the wonders of cruising.
