If NSW continues to carry more of the risk in dealing with overseas arrivals, its quarantine workers are some of the first in line for the vaccine, the Premier says.
NSW reported no new locally acquired cases on Sunday for the 14th consecutive day. One local case emerged in Western Australia, where Premier Mark McGowan announced a security guard at a quarantine hotel had tested positive. Mr McGowan ordered a lockdown for Perth and nearby regions until 6pm on Friday.
In NSW it is the longest period of zero detected community infections since December 16 when NSW Health reported the two new cases in a northern beaches couple. The Avalon cluster would ultimately grow to 151 cases.

It took 43 days since those first cases for NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant to say she was confident the Avalon cluster on the northern beaches had been brought under control on Wednesday.
