VIENTIANE (Vietnam News/ANN): The Vietnamese community in Laos are working with Lao authorities and people to overcome the current Covid-19 outbreak by raising funds and donating cash, necessities and medical supplies to the host country.
After learning about a number of Vietnamese in Laos getting infected with Covid-19, the Vietnamese Association in Vientiane has taken a range of measures to support the Vietnamese community in the country.
The Vietnamese community in Laos has joined hands with Lao authorities and people to overcome the current COVID-19 outbreak by raising fund and donating cash, necessities and medical supplies to the host country.

Malaysia on May 9 recorded its highest single-day death toll from COVID-19 after the coronavirus claimed 26 more lives, raising the total number of fatalities to 1,683, according to the Ministry of Health.

Hanoi â Malaysia on May 9 recorded its highest single-day death toll from COVID-19 after the coronavirus claimed 26 more lives, raising the total number of fatalities to 1,683, according to the Ministry of Health.
The victim ranged from 36 to 90 years old, with the majority of them suffering from existing health complications.

NDO – The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An Province on May 5 presented 300 bottles of antiseptic sanitizer, 450 anti-pandemic clothes, and 900 boxes of medical masks to the provinces of Svay Rieng and Prey Veng in Cambodia to support the country in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Youth Union of Long An Province also sent 30,000 medical masks, 2,500 litres of antiseptic sanitizer and four antiseptic sprayers to the youth unions of Svay Rieng and Prey Veng.
