The Supreme Court-appointed committee on the three new farm laws will hold its first meeting on 19 January to decide the future course of action, its member Anil Ghanwat said on Sunday. We are meeting on January 19 at the Pusa campus. Only members will meet to decide the future course of action, Ghanwat, President of Shetkari Sanghatana (Maharashtra), told PTI.

Saturday (16 January) marked a historic day for India as the country kicked off the world s biggest Covid-19 vaccination drive since the outbreak of COVID-19.
The drive began with a frontline sanitation worker at Delhi AIIMS, Manish Kumar, who received the first jab against the deadly respiratory and infectious disease.
Kumar was inoculated in the presence of Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan. All India Institute of Medical Sciences Director Dr Randeep Guleria also received the vaccine shot.

SII manufactured Oxford University-AstraZeneca s vaccine Covishield, while Bharat Biotech developed the other vaccine Covaxin that is being administered in the inoculation drive.
