The fallout from the lagging vaccination rollout deepened on Sunday as an aged care worker in Melbourneâs north-west tested positive to COVID-19, plunging her workplace into lockdown as just two-thirds of its residents had received a jab.
Staff at the Arcare Maidstone home are in full personal protective equipment and residents are confined to their rooms under the lockdown, as the federal government rushes to push through another round of vaccinations at the facility on Monday.
