The Independent report that the UAE will reopen trade with Qatar next week. The move comes days after the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt ended their embargo with Qatar. Anwar Gargash, the UAEâs minister of state for foreign affairs, said certain elements like airlines, shipping and trader could be restored in the coming days, but that other issues may take longer than a week to restore. Gargash added: âWe have a very good start… but we have issues with rebuilding trust.â He specified issues like Iran and Islamist groups, such as the Muslim Brotherhood.

Authorities in Israel, as well as the West Bank and Gaza, are grappling with the current increase in coronavirus cases, which has prompted directives to curb its spread but also an effort to mitigate the economic consequences of the crisis.
Israel has entered a third nationwide lockdown, and has severely limited the entry of foreigners into the country as cases continue to spike. Israel also announced that anybody arriving from abroad will be required to immediately get a coronavirus test and quarantine at home for two weeks.
Israel currently has 49,506 active cases; 3,392 people have died. In the West Bank, there are 10,108 active cases and 1,186 deaths, and in Gaza 9,816 active cases and 386 deaths.

(JNS) - Israel vaccinated its millionth citizen against COVID-19 on Friday, just three days after announcing the 500,000th Israeli had received the first dose of the vaccine.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Health Minister Yuli Edelstein were on hand in Umm al-Fahm to meet Arab-Israeli Jabarin Muhammad, 66, in the presence of Mayor Samir Sobhi Mahameed, Clalit Healthcare Services chairman Harel Locker, Maccabi Healthcare Services chairman Ran Saar and Ayman Saif, the official responsible for coronavirus affairs in the Arab sector.
