The Maharashtra government Wednesday slashed the prices of the Covid-19 test in the state and brought down the rates of RT-PCR tests to Rs 500 from Rs 1,000.
The costs for rapid antigen tests were also brought down by the state government led by Uddhav Thackeray.
State Health Minister Rajesh Tope made the announcement.
