Panaji (Goa) [India], February 25 (ANI): The Cyber Crime Cell of Goa on Thursday arrested one person for allegedly creating and using a fake profile of state Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Facebook
The accused has been arrested from Rajasthan s Bharatpur. The accused has been identified as Arman and is a resident of Nandera Satwas village in Rajasthan s Bharatpur, the police informed. During the interrogation, the accused revealed that he would make fake profiles of public personalities to cheat people by asking money from the victims, the police said.
The Goa government is watching developments related to the Covid-19 spike in neighbouring Maharashtra, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said on Friday, adding that strict action would be taken if the case of increasing Covid-19 cases .
Villagers demand 10-bedded hospital at Loutolim

Margao: With the 10-bedded hospital proposal kept in cold storage for almost two decades and that the 108 ambulance service and two-wheeler ambulances being withdrawn soon, the 11,000 odd population of Loutolim are being neglected in terms of health, claim the villagers.
Presently, the over burdened Loutolim health centre is catering to the health needs of the villagers. The villagers, underlining the need of a mini hospital, proposed a 10-bedded hospital in the year 2000, when the Hospicio Hospital was observantly overloaded. However interestingly, the proposal was kept on hold by successive governments citing reasons as there is a district (Hospicio) hospital at a distance of 10 kms and hence the proposal vetted by the then legislators including the former ministers was shelved.
