February Alumni Spotlight Jenna Adkins Bastian - Pre-Health Profession Pathways

February 10, 2021 Jenna describes herself as loving, determined, and excited Jenna graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science Studies and a minor in Biology in May of 2018. During her time at Boise State University, Jenna was a member of the Honors College and also took advantage of a variety of extracurriculars offered to students such as Partnership Jamaica (leadership and volunteer), Alpha Chi Omega (leadership and community), and served as the Secretary of Academic Affairs for ASBSU. From the town of Twin Falls, Jenna now finds herself in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah School of Dentistry knee-deep in dental school books but knowing that her education will make a difference. January 7, 2021 Catie describes herself as determined, balanced, and energetic Catie graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science Studies and a minor in Biology in May of 2019. Catie was a Dr. Ralph Jones FACS Pre-Medical Summer Fellowship recipient and a member of the Honors College during her time at Boise State University. She also was awarded the Frank Wong Pre-Med Scholarship 2017-2018. A Boise, Idaho native she has started her first year of medical school at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah, and would like to share her experience at Boise State, current career, and profession.
