By Ryan Young The first COVID-19 vaccines in Manitoba are set to be issued tomorrow morning (Wed). 900 doses of the vaccine will be administered for high-risk health care workers. “As we round out 2020 and look ahead to a new year, there is hope in the window for a safer and healthier future,” Pallister said. “Tomorrow, 9 months after our first positive COVID case here in Manitoba, we will begin to deliver the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.” The vaccine will be administered between tomorrow (Wed) and Friday, and each appointment is expected to take 45 minutes. The first immunization clinic will launch tomorrow morning at the University of Manitoba’s Rady Faculty of Health Sciences on Bannatyne campus adjacent to the Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg.

As more vaccine arrives in the province, we will be ready to deliver, building on this incredibly important first immunization clinic intended to protect our first priority group and save lives.”
