Sudbury's health unit is dismissing the entire school community at St. David School, effective immediately, and are advising all students, staff, and essential visitors who attend the school to self-isolate and get tested for COVID-19.

St. David Catholic Elementary School in Sudbury has dismissed all classes effective immediately, Public Health Sudbury and Districts has announced, due to “potential widespread COVID-19 infection among the school community.”
As of Friday afternoon, 13 confirmed cases had been associated with an outbreak at the school.

“All students, staff, and essential visitors who attend St. David School are advised to self-isolate and to contact a COVID-19 assessment centre to make arrangements to get tested,” PHSD said in a release. “The entire school dismissal is in addition to specific classrooms dismissed earlier this week. Previously dismissed individuals must continue to follow the guidance provided by Public Health.”
