ESSEX JUNCTION â Cotton candy, ice cream, big top tents, the ferris wheel and more are returning this summer, because the Champlain Valley Fair is a go.Â
Vermontâs largest annual event will return August 27 and will run through September 5 at the Champlain Valley Exposition. The Champlain Valley Fair will look just like you have grown to love,  Jeff Bartley, sales and marketing manager, stated in a press release.Â
The fair will include a vibrant garden center, many animal exhibits, hard and soft good vendors, dozens of rides on the midway, entertainment, motorsports in the grandstand, and fair food favorites.Â
Though the 2021 NorthCountry Federal Credit Union Grandstand will look a little different this year, four motorsports shows â Monster Trucks, Demolition Derby, Figure-8 Racing and a free-style motocross show â will still take place. “It’s important that Vermonters share their stories with other Vermonters. We all have different reasons for choosing to get vaccinated, but for many of us, being able to get back to the things we miss is high on that list,” said Health Commissioner Mark Levine, MD. “These stories help connect the dots from vaccines to the brighter future ahead.”
