Greene has been a vocal critic of Fauci throughout the pandemic and has opposed measures and restrictions meant to protect people against the coronavirus, including the wearing of masks.
The attacks against Fauci from Greene and other right-wing figures have intensified in recent days after thousands of his emails were released via Freedom of Information Act requests.
